The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition took place in October. A group of us attended on what must have been the busiest night of the event! Held annually by the Saudi Falcon Club, this massive exhibition is purported to be the largest of its kind in the world, "bringing together all aspects of falconry heritage, hunting, and outdoor activities in a cultural and entertaining event." The club's key objective is to preserve and promote the art of falconry and falcon hunting, one of the Kingdom's primary historic-cultural legacies; and the exhibition "aims to showcase the finest and most extensive collection of falcons, hunting equipment, and outdoor gear in the Kingdom." Firearms, air guns, weapons for hunting, off-road and camping vehicles, traditional crafts, and all things related to falconry were for sale and/or on display.

The painting on the right is of Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (known commonly as "MBS"). He's the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia and the de facto ruler of the Kingdom. He is the heir apparent to the Saudi throne and the seventh son of King Salman of Saudi Arabia and grandson of the nation's founder, King Abdulaziz.
