Notre Dame Cathedral along the Seine. The cathedral and grounds were closed to the public, due to the planned grand re-opening ceremony, which was to occur the day after we departed. This is one of the only clear shots of the church that I could get.

One of the most famous museums in the world, the Louvre is the national art museum in Paris. It occupies the Louvre Palace, a royal residence originally built in the late 12th to 13th century and redesigned and extended many times.
